Dr. Parkerson was born and raised in Eastman, Georgia. He has been married to his wife Julie for
10 years and they make their home in Smyrna with their
daughter, Sadie. Julie is a pharmacist for Sam's Club in Marietta.
The Parkerson's are members of Mt. Paran Church of God and Dwight Keith Ministries.

Personal
Dr. Neal was born and raised in Sparta, Tennessee. He and his wife Julie have
been married for 5 years and they now make their home in Marietta
with their daughters, Emily and Sydney. The Neal's are members
of the North Atlanta Church of Christ.
His chiropractic story
Dr. Neal was a patient years before he ever considered being a chiropractor. He
suffered from headaches and lower back pain throughout childhood. His doctors could
not find anything wrong and just prescribed pain medication. The drugs dulled his
symptoms, but did not take away the pain.
When Dr. Neal was in college, the pain got so bad he could not take it. He was
desperate and was introduced to Dr. John D. Grostic. Dr. Grostic took x-rays of his neck,
analyzed them, and adjusted him.
Dr. Neal had been to other chiropractors before, but this was a new experience.
The adjustment was gentle and did not involve any twisting or cracking. The headaches
and the back pain went away. In fact, it worked so well that Dr. Neal became a Grostic
Chiropractor.

Dr. Humber
After completing his undergraduate studies at Clayton College, Dr. Humber received his
Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University.
Dr. Humber is a certified member of the Society of Chiropractic Orthospinology and under
the auspices of that organization, lectures throughout the U.S. on advanced chiropractic
techniques and x-ray procedures.
He is also a member of the International Chiropractic Association and the Georgia Council on
Chiropractic.
Dr. Humber was born and raised in Atlanta and now lives in Waleska. He has been married to his
wife Brigitte for 26 years.
The Humber's have 2 daughters: Michelle, 25, and Crystal, 22.

Meet our Staff
Melody Simmons
Melody has served our clinic as Office Manager since 1993. Previously, she managed a Dermatology clinic for
4 years and worked in a Family Practice/General Surgery clinic for 12 years. In addition to managing the
day-to-day operations of the clinic, Melody assists patients with their insurance and Medicare needs. She
can be reached at the office on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
Melody has been married to Terry Simmons for 30 years and they make their home in Villa Rica, Georgia.

Sunshine Ballew
Sunshine originally joined our staff in 1999. She is a Chiropractic Assistant and is certified in Chiropractic
x-ray procedure by the Georgia Chiropractic Association and
the Society of Chiropractic Orthospinology. Sunshine also assists in new patient examinations,
cold laser therapy, and nutritional testing. She is in the office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Sunshine lives in Carrollton, Georgia with her husband,
Neal.

Mandy Schell
Mandy has been working in our front desk area since 2003. She is
also the coordinator of The Highest Level, our monthly
email newsletter. Mandy is in the office on Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Mandy is originally from Lawrenceville and now lives in Hiram with her husband, Jason, and their children Haley,
9, and Trystan, 6.

 Lindy
Rodriguez
Lindy joined our clinic in March of 2008. Lindy
brings 4 years of Chiropractic Assistant experience to our
clinic and is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a
Bachelor of Arts & Science. She is a Chiropractic
Assistant and assists our patients with percussion, cold laser
therapy, ion cleanse, and x-rays.
Lindy lives in Smyrna and is in the office on Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Her boyfriend, Jason, is
a chiropractic student at Life University.

Cara Southerland
Cara recently joined our clinic family. She is
working in our front desk area and also assists with patient
preparation and percussion. Cara is in the office
on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Cara is originally from Michigan and now lives in Smyrna
with her husband, Drew.
Drew is a chiropractic student at Life
University.
