A QUICK INTRODUCTION

8 ways we're probably not like any other chiropractic you know

Red Button  No cracking, twisting, or popping
The specialty we practice, Orthospinology, utilizes a gentle, almost imperceptible instrument adjustment. The adjustment is so gentle that it is even safe and effective for infants and post-spinal surgery patients.

Red Button  Fewer visits
Our goal is to resolve your health problem or pain as quickly as possible. Because of the precise, scientific nature of our method, we are usually able to achieve this in fewer visits than average. If we feel that our specialty cannot resolve your problem in a reasonable amount of time, we will tell you.

Red Button  Measurable and visible results
Utilizing 3-dimensional x-ray analysis and mathematical calculation, we can see and measure the correction to your spine, and determine if your adjustment achieved the required amount of correction to your misalignment. If not, we refine the calculation and adjustment until a successful correction is achieved.

Red Button  The focus and detail of our care
In order to achieve our high level of results, the practice of Orthospinology requires more time and analysis for each patient's 1st visit and more focus on calculations and case work before we can make the precise correction to your spine.

Red Button  It takes longer to become an Upper Cervical Chiropractor
This is the short answer to why you may not have heard of this specialized method before. Becoming a Chiropractic Orthospinologist requires many hours of extra study and training and an Advanced Certification after chiropractic school.

Red Button  Safe for Post-Spinal Surgery Patients
Since Orthospinology uses no spinal manipulation or forceful adjusting of the spine, it is one of the rare chiropractic procedures that is completely safe for patients who have already had spinal surgery.

The painless Orthospinology correction is made at the C1 (Atlas) level of the spine, therefore it is not necessary to directly adjust the common surgical areas of C4 through C7 in the neck and L3 through L5 in the lower back.

Red Button  We don't do "add-ons" or therapies
Our clinic is primarily focused on correcting your spine and will only use the treatments that are absolutely necessary to resolve your problem.

Red Button  Our long history of getting results
Since 1951, our clinic has successfully resolved the pain and health problems of thousands of patients. Among the more than 3,000 current Humber Parkerson patients, many travel over a hundred miles to our Atlanta clinic for this specialized form of chiropractic care.
